Our hostess prepared us on request some sandwiches and tea for a late snack. No eating restaurants were available. The bikes overnighted safely in a shed on the farm’s yard.

In easy terrain to Bovec-Kobarid-Tolmin (lunch)-Kanal railway station.

From Piran forward to the Croatian border and while biking the “maritimo” we passed the first soulmate, Mr. Brolima Soumaoro from Nice, who was so glad to meet us, that almost fell from his saddle. He had been cycling alone for the whole week.
