MAGYAROSZAG 23-31.10.2007

In spite of rather pessimistic weather forecasts for the week of our journey,  gods smiled upon us once again; only one rainy day – otherwise a bit foggy and chilly. From the cyclist´s point of view Hungary still have some things to fix: no proper cycling paths at least in the surroundings of Budapest, inconvenient traffic signs (distances usually missing) etc. However terrain was mostly flat, car-drivers polite, people friendly and helpful, food and drink cheap, good and plenty etc. Can you ask for more? (363 kms in total).
